ISA/PnP Devices


Detailed information about ISA/PnP devices and used resources.

ISA/PnP Devices

Number of Cards: Number of the installed ISA/PnP cards.

Read Port: Number of the ISA/PnP read data port.

Card Number N

Information about ISA/PnP card number N.

Vendor: Vendor of ISA/PnP device.

Device Name: Name of ISA/PnP device.

ISA Device ID: EISA-style ISA/PnP device ID.

Serial Number: Unique card serial number.

PnP Version: Number of PnP version supported by the card.

ANSI String: Internal text string of the ISA/PnP card.

Parent Device: Name of the parent device.

Logical Device N

Information about logical device number N. Every ISA/PnP card has one or more logical devices. The following is the list of all these devices.

Vendor: Vendor of logical device.

Logical Device Name: Name of logical device.

Logical Device ID: EISA-style logical device ID.

Status: Current status of logical device - enabled/disabled.

ANSI String: Internal text string of the ISA/PnP card.

Compatible Name: Name of compatible device.

Compatible ID: Compatible device ID. If there are no original drivers you can use drivers of this compatible device.

I/O Port: Number of the I/O port used by the device.

System IRQ: Number and type of the system IRQ used by the device. Possible values: High True Edge, Low True Edge, High True Level, Low True Level.

DMA Channel: Number and capacity of the DMA channel used by the device. Possible values - 8/16 bit.

Memory Address: Memory addresses and their discharge. Possible values - 8/16/32 bit.
