Detailed information about memory controller and memory devices from SMBIOS.

For motherboard with DMI/SMBIOS support version 2.2 or higher:

Physical Memory Array N

Information about memory controller number N.

Maximum Capacity: Maximum memory capacity for this array.

Location: Physical location of the memory array, whether on the system board or an add-in board.

Use: Identifies the function for which the array is used.

Memory Error Correct.: Primary hardware error correction or detection method supported by this memory array.

Memory Devices: Number of slots or sockets available for memory devices in this array.

Structure Length: Length of SMBIOS structure.

Memory Device N

Describes a single memory device number N that is part of a larger physical memory array.

Size: Size of the memory device. If not installed - Not Present.

Form Factor: Implementation form factor for this memory device.

Memory Type: Type of memory used in this device.

Speed: Identifies the speed of the device, in megahertz (MHz).

Configured Speed: Identifies the configured speed of the device, in megahertz (MHz).

Configured Voltage: Configured voltage for this device.

Maximum Voltage: Maximum operating voltage for this device.

Minimum Voltage: Minimum operating voltage for this device.

Device Locator: String that identifies the physically-labeled socket or board position where the memory device is located.

Bank Locator: String number of the string that identifies the physically labeled bank where the memory device is located.

Total Width: Total width, in bits, of this memory device, including any check or error-correction bits. If there are no error-correction bits, this value should be equal to Data Width.

Data Width: Data width, in bits, of this memory device.

Device Set: Identifies when the memory device is one of a set of Memory Devices that must be populated with all devices of the same type and size, and the set to which this device belongs.

Type Detail: Additional detail on the memory device type.

Manufacturer: Memory device manufacturer.

Serial Number: Memory device serial number.

Asset Tag:

Part Number: Memory device part number.

Structure Length: Length of SMBIOS structure.

For motherboard with DMI/SMBIOS support version below 2.2:

Memory Controller N

Information about memory controller number N.

Maximum Capacity: Maximum memory capacity for this controller.

Memory Types: Describes the physical characteristics of the memory modules that are supported by the system.

Memory Slots: Number of slots or sockets available for memory devices in this controller.

Error Correcting: Memory controller error correcting capability.

En. Error Correcting: Identifies the error correcting capabilities that were enabled when the structure was built.

Error Detecting: Memory controller error detecting method.

Current Interleave: Current interleave support.

Supported Interleave: Supported interleave.

Supported Speeds: Describes the speed of the memory modules supported by the system.

Module Voltage: Describes the required voltages for each of the memory module sockets controlled by this controller.

Structure Length: Length of SMBIOS structure.

Memory Module N

Describes a single memory module number N that is part of a larger physical memory controller.

Installed Size: Size of the memory device. If not installed - Not Present.

Memory Type: Type of memory used in this device.

Socket Designation: Reference designation.

Bank Connections: Memory bank connections (RAS#).

Current Speed: Speed of the memory module, in ns.

Enabled Size: Identifies the amount of memory currently enabled for the system's use from the module.

Error Status: Memory module error status.

Structure Length: Length of SMBIOS structure.
